My story begins in 1939. I spent the first ten years of my life living in Manchester because I was evacuated when war started. I then moved back to my birth town Seaford, where I spent a great deal of my life. I worked at a variety of jobs until I went to work for a plasterer, Frank Simmons. He taught me the trade and I carried this on for most of my life. After the dreaded National Service where I served in the artillery as a gunner in Germany, I returned to Seaford and started my own business plastering. I married in 1966 to my wife Angela. I bought my own house during this time and I worked for ten years in Belgium as a builder but because of their draconian tax laws returned home broke and homeless. I have now got two children and three grandchildren and live comfortably in a flat in Eastbourne. I have always wanted to write and the advent of the computer made this possible. I have finished the three books featured here and more are on the way. I write about what interests me at the time in whatever genre is needed. I belong to two writing groups as I enjoy helping others if I can.

The Survivalists
Everybody has heard about disaster that killed off the dinosaurs caused by a collision with an asteroid, but what of the natural disasters that are with us here on earth. One such is the ever present threat of volcanic eruption. In earths history there has been several eruptions that literally wiped out almost the entire population of the earth. One such is the eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera in America. In the last 1.2 million years it has exploded twice with devastating force that resulted in the earth descending into so-called Nuclear Winter. During this time the sun is blocked out by the volcanic dust and no crops can grow or animals survive. Geologists have proved that this happens on a regular cycle of about 600,000 years. The last time this happened was 640,000 years ago when nothing larger than a dog survived. So the world is overdue for another enormous disaster, but when? Nobody knows. Very few in the world have taken the trouble to prepare for this cataclysmic event. But there is for one man who truly believes that it will happen in our lifetime. He finds out that the US Government is in possession of secret reports predicting the disaster will happen soon, but he knows that they will be looking to save themselves rather than the general public. He will prepare to survive this event, and convinces his family and friends to take action to survive this cataclysmic event. This is the story of how he solves the problem of survival when the largest volcanic explosion in the earth's history happens.
Android Affair
Inspector Anne Miller is called out late at night to a road traffic accident and finds herself in the middle of a mystery. A man has been knocked over by a car and appears to be dead, but is it a man or is it a robot?
The mystery deepens when the body disappears from the coroner’s, never to be seen again. In its place is some strange message from the ‘powers that be’ to leave well alone. Although she wants to pursue the inquiry she is told in no uncertain terms to stay out of it.
She hears no more about it until some years later she retires and the case comes up again. A colleague gives her some extraordinary information and is killed shortly afterwards. Will she follow it up or let the matter rest?
